Pushing International law in Pakistan, ahead!

What Does ILF Do?

The ILF is among the very few and most promising international law foundations of its kind. Based in Lahore, the ILF has close ties with the members of the international law community in Pakistan as well as abroad. The President of the ILF, Muhammad Kalim Ullah is an honorable member of the International Law Association and he has been regularly attending the International Law Conferences and Courses.

The dynamic role of international law in responding to globalization, and the rising significance of developing a shared understanding regarding different international issues, underscore the need for a forum that will advance International Law in Pakistan. The ILF is a vehicle for the development of international law research, capacity building, and publication. Our aim is to promote the understanding of International Law on an individual and institutional level which will enhance the systemic repute of international law and create awareness regarding Pakistan’s international law obligations. The ILF’s team is the real heart of the foundation. The team is comprised of a devoted staff of talented researchers. Their commitment, persistence, and hard work to promote the ILF and further the cause for the significance of international law both academically and practically in Pakistan.
